When you place the cursor within an image it becomes an arrow. As you move the cursor around the arrow points in the direction of the movement of the cursor. Hold down the left mouse button to move around the space.
Hold down your mouse button on the '+' symbol to zoom closer into the image.
Hold down your mouse button on the '-' symbol to zoom further out of the image.
